Still hiking...

Anya walked all the way from where you can see the cars in the distance, down the valley and up the other side. Anytime we would mention the Ergo she would give an emphatic, "No," or if reminded, "No Thank you!" and continue on with more fortitude and speed up the trail.

Ergo Time

We laid down the parental law and Anya went willingly, though maybe not joyfully, onto Daddy's back in the Ergo Pergo as she lovingly calls it. She was asleep by about 8:45...her usual naptime is around 12 or 1....needless to say she was exhausted and having trouble holding things together by around 5:30 so we put her to bed early.

Call Dada...

Anya loves the phone! If I let her she walks around the house doing her chores, playing, etc. all while holding it to her ear and having a conversation with....she especially likes calling dada or Auntie Laur Laur...today she walked up to me and said bye bye mama, going to see dada...and walked down the driveway. Very funny. She was back a few seconds later to smile and do it agian. What a joy she is to me!

She did miss her mouth a few times, but had lots of fun doing it...she is generally not a messy eater but this is one of those exceptions
