Homework Time

I had a miscarriage in late September and was feeling emotional and lonely....My wonderful husband stayed home with me for a few days but of course needed to return to school so my sweet little sister booked a ticket and stayed almost a week and my Dad drove out for a week as well! I was so thankful to have them, they made that week full of fun and special for our sweet little girl and her mama. God gave us a wonderful family...and I am thankful our second little one is with Him and look forward to meeting the little guy in heaven.

Anyway, Auntie Laur laur needed to do a little bit of homework, but Anya thought maybe she could help....

Uncle Matt and Auntie Keri visit!

...and we have zero pictures of either of them! But we did go on this hike with Keri, Hunter creek. We didn't make it to far because we forgot the Ergo so Anya traded off walking, riding on her perch, being carried on the hip, and trying to ride in our tiny patagonia backpack. She was so sleepy she started falling asleep in there, and eventually just fell asleep in Dada's arms as he carried her to the car. We had a lot of fun with Matt and Keri - the best was a hike near Truckee and a swim in the lake.

B.o.b.

Anya climbed in her stroller with three friends and asked if I would push her around the "neighborhood." I was in the middle of something...but she was so precious we took a break for a little spin. She loves her comfortable stroller and so do I. Thanks GG!

Mama's birthday present

Sean got me a mixer for my birthday, and Anya and I love to bake with it! She waits for mama to put the guard on and then turns it on low speed. She loves to lick the big beater...for hours...

Cheese Grater

Still hiking...

Anya walked all the way from where you can see the cars in the distance, down the valley and up the other side. Anytime we would mention the Ergo she would give an emphatic, "No," or if reminded, "No Thank you!" and continue on with more fortitude and speed up the trail.
